This design was just a fun project to challenge myself to create a package design that looked like a legitimate Coca Cola product. I chose Hawaiian Ginger because I knew they did not already have that flavor and it would be something new.

MIRRORED SHORES BEVERAGE BRAND

I was asked to create a beverage brand for my client that was based on the city of Port Washington, WI. I decided to create a beer brand since most of the residents living in Port Washington are fishermen; I chose a lager because, after taking a survey, I found that lagers are the most drank beer by fishermen.

LOVING LUCY CLOTHING BRAND

For this project, I was asked to create a clothing brand based on an article of clothing given to me by my client. This clothing brand is called Loving Lucy in reference to the iconic character Lucille Ball from "I Love Lucy" because the target audience is meant to share similar characteristics.

PLAISIO SOAP COMPANY

As an outside project of mine, I created a soap company based on a Presbyterian church called Frame Memorial Presbyterian located in Stevens Point. The brand is called Plaisio, which is Greek for "Frame", to tie in the history of the church to the new brand.

OUTLIER CONDOM COMPANY

For this project, I was asked to mockup an idea for a condom company called Outlier, particularly for the subculture of bikers. Since many bikers get tattoos of skulls because they're a reminder of life, I used a skull as the basis for the design. 

DJP-MEDIA PERSONAL BRAND

I was asked to create a personal brand for my client, a 29-year-old male who wants to be a professional photographer but who lacks confidence and drive. Since he already did photography as a hobby, he had a brand partially created already.

STANDING ROCKS OPEN TOURNAMENT

I was asked to create a design for the 2019 Standing Rocks Open Disc Golf tournament. The course is known for its population of Sandhill Cranes so the design always includes a crane. While I was creating the design I was also researching tribal tattoos so I decided to create a tribal version of a crane for the end design.

SNOW THROW MASSACRE XII

I was asked to create a design for the 2020 Snow Throw Massacre XII Disc Golf tournament. Each year the design includes some sort of murderous snowman and, since I created the design for the last 3 years, I decided to use the same main spider-like snowman. This year the design was printed on both mugs and sweatshirts.

THE 1 PERCENT BOARD GAME

This board game was created based on the political ideology of Social Darwinism. The six rings on the board represent social classes and the goal for all but one player is to move from the bottom ring to the top. The last player plays against all others trying to keep them from advancing in true Social Darwinism fashion. 

TATTOOS AND THEIR (HI)STORIES

This booklet was created to investigate why a person chooses a premade design over a custom design when getting a tattoo. It covers the history of tattoos, the meanings of common designs, interviews with three artists, and interviews with ten individuals with photos of their tattoos.

EVOLUTION OF WAR PROPAGANDA

This booklet was created to investigate the evolution of propaganda and how it pertained to wars that involved the US. I wrote all of the copy used based on my research of the topic. The layout utilizes a two-column structure as well as a set font and size of the type. 

BLUE MARBLE ALLIANCE

I was asked to design this annual report for the environmentally friendly law firm. I redesigned their logo and took all of the photos that are included within the book. The copy was given to me but I chose the layout of the text, the font used, and the picture placements. I also chose the size and orientation of the book.
